Cosy evening or summer afternoon at The Turnpike, Yarnton
The Turnpike pub, located in Yarnton off the A44, is a very dog friendly pub. We have taken our Cavapoo, Ted, here many times, and he has been welcome in both the dining area and the bar area of the pub. The bar staff have always shown Ted lots of affection, and generally offer him a water bowl on arrival and a dog biscuit (which he always enthusiastically accepts!) The pub also has a decent size garden with lots of picnic benches, so it is definitely a good pub to take a dog to in the summer, although we do always keep Ted on his lead, considering the pub is located right next to a very busy road.
