Dog friendly garden Centre in oxford

The oxford garden Centre is just of the A34 Southern by pass, very close to Chilswell Valley nature reserve

So if you are planning on going to the garden Centre, why not make a day of it and go on the walk as well!

Oxford Garden Centre has a large car park, which has a good choice of compost along the out side of the building. At Christmas they have a big selection of Christmas trees and in the past have given out hot mince pies and mulled wine to visitors when the trees are on sale.

They have a nice selection of small water features and pots. They have pond plants, shrubs and trees. The staff are dog friendly and very helpful. Above is Tracey pointing at one of our graded super dog friendly stickers, which we give to the best dog friendly places in Oxfordshire. Tracey also has a bought two large bags of dog treats and a nice container to keep them in which she keeps at the till. She is very kind. Oak really liked Tracey, and gave extra tail wags, went Tracey spoke to her.

They do have a café, and a eating area outside. I am not sure if dogs are allowed in the café, so please check first if you are planning to eat there. They do make a very good bacon sandwich!

There is no longer a pet section in the shop. However there is a nice collection box for dogs.

They do sell ice-creams, but not dog friendly ones as yet!

They do sell bird food and have a nice range of plants, seeds and small trees. Oak and I give the Oxford Garden Centre a woof a meter rating of 5. The staff are very dog friendly and even went to get fresh water for Oak in their large dog water bowl.
