Woof-O-Meter is a rating system.

The Woof-O-Meter is a rating system that we’ve developed to help you identify the best dog-friendly places to visit in Oxford. We know how important it is for both you and your furry friend to have a good time, so we’ve come up with a system to rate each location based on how dog-friendly it is.

The rating system ranges from 1 to 5, with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest. Here’s what each rating means:

1. Not recommended for dogs – This location is not ideal for dogs due to lack of space, poor facilities or unfriendly staff.

2. Dog-tolerant – This location is ok for dogs, but they may not feel completely welcome or comfortable.

3. Dog-friendly – This location welcomes dogs and has some facilities or amenities for them.

4. Very dog-friendly – This location is extremely welcoming to dogs and has excellent facilities or amenities for them.

5. Ultimate dog-friendly – This location goes above and beyond to cater to dogs and their owners. It’s a must-visit for any dog lover!

We’ll use the Woof-O-Meter to rate all the places we feature on our blog, including pubs, shops, markets, walks, and parks. Our ratings will be based on our own experiences and observations, as well as feedback from other dog owners in the community.
